Thriving in your empty nest: embrace your next chapter with ASU

ASU’s Thriving in Your Empty Nest Chapter is a new online course designed to help parents start their new chapter with confidence and clarity.

You’ve spent years focused on your children’s wellbeing.
Now it’s time to focus
on yourself.

Launching your children into the world is a significant transition, often without the necessary support systems. While this change can seem daunting, it's also a time of immense possibility. You have the power to shape this new chapter, making it more exciting, rewarding and fulfilling than you ever imagined.

With ASU’s Thriving in Your Empty Nest Chapter, you will reconnect with yourself and remember who you are (beyond “Mom” or “Dad”) — and clarify what you want your next chapter to look like.

"This course and the previous course (Navigating Transitions) have been life-changing for me. I know that they've come to me at the right time in my life, but I've also embraced them wholeheartedly and they have definitely changed me in a way that nothing else has before. Thank you for providing this wonderful space and all of the juicy 'stuff' inside that allows all of us to dive in and reflect on midlife."

Amy T.

"Without these new tools, I would have been in trouble, possibly turning my natural sadness into depression as a new empty nester. I realized I am not alone in navigating this transition. It is a normal (and good!) part of life. I feel much better about myself as a person and living my values. I feel much more excited and prepared to live my best, authentic life going forward. This training on transition is so necessary."
